A Humble Prayer

A humble boy, a vocal prayer
A simple verse that led him there
Ask of me ye shall recieve
Hold nothing back and just believe

He took this holy promise giv'n
By a loving Father in Heav'n
He knelt to pray and ask for truth
He yearned for wisdom, absolute

He then saw a light that shone,
Brighter than the noonday sun
And appeared two beings at once
There was the Father and the Son

"Joseph, this is my beloved"
They taught him knowledge from above
They Told him then, that his name would
Be had for either bad, or good.

Many years had passed, while he grew
A mighty man from simple youth
As Intent was Proved and heart shone pure
The Lord through him His Church restored

And at that point, there came to rest,
A Prophet's Mantle on Joseph's Breast
